I used to have a job as a prep worker/dishwasher in a restaurant.

It's tragically hilarious how accurate this is.

memedumpster - 2011-10-30

Country club here. Dead on.

TheOtherCapnS - 2011-10-30

I've cooked professionally for over ten years and in some of the best restaurants in the country, and I've never seen anything even remotely similar to this happen in a kitchen.

heyitslozeau - 2011-10-31

I have to agree with the other Capn. I've cooked on and off for almost 10 years in all sorts of restaurants in all sorts of capacities and the most telling demonstration of this being far from reality is the fact that 3 employees stand around talking during a rush for almost 5 minutes. This is not reality, even in the most pretentious of fine dining, unless you serve one table an hour.

^^

Chef propaganda, do not believe.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-10-31

The gag here is that this is what impatient customers THINK their high-falutin' restaurant slaves do when their waiting for their food. It's probably in your best interest to say it is.

If this ISN'T what makes restaurant dining so slow, what is? "Oh, because we're dicing onions." WEAK SAUCE, YOU WEAK SAUCIERS.

TheOtherCapnS - 2011-11-13

When restaurant dining is slow, it's almost always because everyone wants to eat at 7-7:30 and they seat the entire fucking restaurant at once...

citrusmirakel - 2011-10-30

Mark McKinney's character is new here.

citrusmirakel - 2011-10-30

Also, you should really get a Kids in the Hall and/or KITH tag in there so it'll be added to the collection of the 6,000 other Kids sketches on poeTV.

pastorofmuppets - 2011-10-31

let's face it, "design by committee" was never going to get linked by anything as good as this

BHWW - 2011-10-30

McCulloch's character has some serious floppy 90's hair.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-10-31

This was the very first KITH sketch I ever saw. I had no idea what was going on and I wasn't sure if this was a comedy or not.
