That one scene where the wizard makes everyone commit suicide traumatized me as a kid.

Fifty stars, and how is Fire and Ice NOT a linked tag?!

EvilHomer - 2011-11-07

FUN FACT: Thomas Kinkade was one of the background painters for this film. Yes, that Thomas Kinkade.

notascientist - 2011-11-07

Do they talk about whatserface's ass?

memedumpster - 2011-11-07

Bad ass. I love this movie even more now.

FABIO - 2011-11-08

The only things I remember about this movie are boobs and the main character being completely useless.

baleen - 2011-11-08

Really weird, we were trying to find this movie to watch last night, randomly. Is there something happening with this thing or is that just coincidence?

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-11-08

I don't think so, but I did see that they added it to Netflix instant recently. Hooray!

fatatty - 2011-11-08

Robert Rodriguez is making a live-action remake if that counts as "something happening with this thing."

cognitivedissonance - 2011-11-09

Robert Rodriguez does for live action what Ralph Bakshi did for animation. Whatta pair!

And that's not a compliment.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-11-08

And while Kricfalusi then turns around and licks every drop from Bakshi's drippy, clap-riddled dong, he suggests that Disney's insistence on realistic animation is evil and wrong.

HotwaxNinjaPanther - 2011-11-08

Rotoscoping may have been interesting back then, but Bakshi still couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag without ending up behind schedule and over budget.

garcet71283 - 2011-11-08

Cool stuff but we really shouldn't be praising them, as this stuff was the forerunner of the crap George Lucas makes us sit through today.

Nikon - 2011-11-08

Then I will praise them.

Screwtape - 2011-11-08

Fucking tracers.

fatatty - 2011-11-08

He actually said he regretted relying so much on rotoscoping instead of merely using live footage as a guide. I think the effect worked better in this than any other time he used it but it definitely limits creativity in the artists.
