Mic check!

This will only take a minute | We have a message for Mrs. Bachmann.

You capitalize on dividing Americans | claiming people that disagree with you | are unpatriotic socialists | and you promote discrimination.

This does not help the American People.

You parade as a grassroots candidate | but your campaign is funded | by Americans For Prosperity | a group that takes advantage | of legalized money laundering.

This does not help the American People.

You cater to the One Percent | you oppose paying hardworking Americans | a living wage | and refuse | to promote realistic solutions | to economic problems.

This does not help the American people.

This 501(c)(4) | is funded by the Koch Brothers | One of of many organizations | that engage | In misinformation| and drowns out the voice | of the American people | A disturbing result | of the Citizens United decision.

This does not help the American people.

We demand an end to legitimized corruption | through a constitutional reversal | of the Citizens United decision.

This will help the American people.

Have a pleasant day."

Americans for Prosperity

godot - 2011-11-11

Her campaign has actually been hurting for money. "She had spent m in recent months but only brought in m. Her campaign team at the end of the quarter (only) had .3m in the bank." I suspect the Kochs et. al. are channelling their funds elsewhere.

baleen - 2011-11-11

The entire Republican Party is in dire straits financially. The fundraising apparatus has been shifted to corporate and oligarchical donors.

American Crossroads has a few dozen donors and they intend to raise 0m this election year. The DCCC has outraised the RCCC by almost 4:1.

They must be shitting in their pants.

baleen - 2011-11-11

Also, I said a year ago that Karl Rove would choose Romney, and that's who was going to be the GOP pick. Interestingly all other contenders are having their characters assassinated or are being censored. Ron Paul, despite polling nicely, is being completely ignored by the GOP political engine.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-11

Now I have another reason to hate the human megaphone. Its now being used for unruly disruption and intimidation.

Nikon - 2011-11-11

Why can't they be respectful and quiet, like the people at the health care town halls?

Randroid - 2011-11-11

here we go again! *yakety sax plays*

chumbucket - 2011-11-11

I think it's the best use of it so far.

memedumpster - 2011-11-11

No way, that was a classic Bachmann turnover drive.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-11

Bachmann is trying to deliver a speech. This isn't Wall Street or an appropriate place to protest. The Tea Party never did this to Obama.

giygusattack - 2011-11-11

That seemed like a pretty orderly disruption, the protesters said what they wanted to say, wished them a pleasant day, then walked single file from the area.

As for intimidation, that's kind of the point right?

baleen - 2011-11-11

She's delivering a piece of legislation that was bought and paid for by a corporation. This is all in honoring the tradition of Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine, you spineless hypocrite.

God bless these patriots.

erratic - 2011-11-11

Cena Mark: YOU LIE!

CIWB - 2011-11-11

Michelle Bachmann is a clown vanity candidate. She's not a serious person and doesn't deserve to be treated seriously. Her vapid blatherings deserve to be interrupted by any means available. I think the most appropriate would be rotten tomatoes, a la late 19th century vaudeville.

Louis Armstrong - 2011-11-11

If only they had guns. That's intimidation that all can agree to.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-11

I'm not justifying what Bachmann does. I'd never vote for her. I'm just saying these protests are getting out of line.
Calm: The "You lie" outburst was done by a single member of the legislature. It wasn't an organized protest like this.
LouisWeakarms: You're right, its wrong to bring guns to a protest. Those Tea Partiers were out of line. I'm not justifying the Tea Party. I don't like them much either. I just like them a little bit more than I like the Occupy cry babies.

Corpus Delectable - 2011-11-11

Brought to you by Cena_mark, the law and order pro wrestling candidate. He's for serious.

Ocyrus - 2011-11-11

Does your command know that you have hatred towards the American people that you swore an oath to? You do realize that that's what that oath was, an oath to the document that binds us all. You ought to be run out of the Girl Scouts for your treasonous ideals.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-11

I took an oath to defend the constitution. Not the ideals of entitled shitheads.

baleen - 2011-11-11

You took an oath to sit around mopping floors so that in 4 years you can get a job fixing diesel tanks and telling all the guys at the bar that you're a veteran.

You are not a patriot. Stop pretending to be one. Nobody believes you.

joelkazoo - 2011-11-11

Michelle M. Bachmann Will You Please Go Now!

Enjoy - 2011-11-11

Human mic is a tag

baleen - 2011-11-11

your face is a tag

spikestoyiu - 2011-11-11

Your skin tags look like a face.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-11-12

SO OFFENSIVE

TeenerTot - 2011-11-11

I especially like that the protestors weren't fazed by the teabaggers' favorite weapon: the USA chant.

Cena_mark - 2011-11-11

The chant itself wasn't their weapon. They were trying to summon Jim Duggan to break a few 2X4s on the protesters. Sadly it didn't work.

Louis Armstrong - 2011-11-11

This made me smile! Maybe there is hope for Cena. Baleen! You Henry Higgins you! Turning everyones favorite Eliza Doolittle here into something refined. A tip of my hat to you sir!

Riskbreaker - 2011-11-11

Moderate well-spoken non-crazy conservatives seem to be a thing of the past.

charmlessman - 2011-11-11

That was one of the most effective protests I have ever seen.

They made up a large percentage of the audience.
They stopped Michelle Crazypants.
She left.
They left.
There was no one left.

BOOM! DONE!

Macho Nacho - 2011-11-11

This is beautiful.

paparatti - 2011-11-11

:D

Void 71 - 2011-11-11

This is an improvement over what they were chanting at Obama rallies in 2008.

Also, what's wrong with being an unpatriotic socialist? Now's as good a time as any to embrace the term.

kamlem - 2011-11-11

"Afterward, Bachmann told reporters the protesters who interrupted her had the right to do so. But she said they were "disrespectful and ignorant" to do it on Thursday, the 236th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps and a day before Veterans Day."

Is that you, Serial Mom?

dairyqueenlatifah - 2011-11-11

I hate the human megaphone, but I hate Bachmann more.

Hailey2006 - 2011-11-12

The chunk of that audience that wern't protesters were old fat white people who are all like "WTF are those hippies doing?"

ry0suck - 2011-11-16

sit down! *clap* sit down! *clap*

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-11-16

I would just like to note my shock that she did not drink all of their blood or at the least, bathe in it.

Really. I am.
