The entire Republican Party is in dire straits financially. The fundraising apparatus has been shifted to corporate and oligarchical donors.

American Crossroads has a few dozen donors and they intend to raise 0m this election year. The DCCC has outraised the RCCC by almost 4:1.

Also, I said a year ago that Karl Rove would choose Romney, and that's who was going to be the GOP pick. Interestingly all other contenders are having their characters assassinated or are being censored. Ron Paul, despite polling nicely, is being completely ignored by the GOP political engine.

Why can't they be respectful and quiet, like the people at the health care town halls?

Bachmann is trying to deliver a speech. This isn't Wall Street or an appropriate place to protest. The Tea Party never did this to Obama.

That seemed like a pretty orderly disruption, the protesters said what they wanted to say, wished them a pleasant day, then walked single file from the area.

As for intimidation, that's kind of the point right?

She's delivering a piece of legislation that was bought and paid for by a corporation. This is all in honoring the tradition of Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine, you spineless hypocrite.

Michelle Bachmann is a clown vanity candidate. She's not a serious person and doesn't deserve to be treated seriously. Her vapid blatherings deserve to be interrupted by any means available. I think the most appropriate would be rotten tomatoes, a la late 19th century vaudeville.

If only they had guns. That's intimidation that all can agree to.

I'm not justifying what Bachmann does. I'd never vote for her. I'm just saying these protests are getting out of line.
Calm: The "You lie" outburst was done by a single member of the legislature. It wasn't an organized protest like this.
LouisWeakarms: You're right, its wrong to bring guns to a protest. Those Tea Partiers were out of line. I'm not justifying the Tea Party. I don't like them much either. I just like them a little bit more than I like the Occupy cry babies.
