The technology of Cup cars is state-of-the-art. The worst garage in NASCAR can get better fuel mileage with a carburetor than the best fuel injection on the market. I know you could belch a bunch of "facts" at me about how superior F1 technology is, but you and a lot of people like you are elitist and misinformed.
Tony Stewart won the championship at age 40. If that makes him geriatric, the average age of the 2 through 5 finishers is 32 years old. Also, NASCAR drivers tend to be slightly older than open-wheel drivers because stock cars require more skill to race properly than open-wheel cars and drivers require more training at lower levels.
...but yes, Dale Junior sucks.

I don't buy that they're Koch brainwashed, necessarily. They booed Bush too. I think they are just pissy at being turned into a political marketshare and would rather get drunk and watch cars. For that I can hardly blame them.

I've read that black people watch NASCAR at the same levels that they watch football, they just don't go to the track (gee, I wonder why).
