So... do you think that hurts?

Also is it wriggling around like that because it's trapped?

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2011-11-22

Yikes! Not quite as bad as the screw fly larva burrowing into a kid's head but it's pretty close.

You know what, Nature? Sometimes I don't feel so bad about the way we're destroying you.

Xenocide - 2011-11-23

The Lord God created every creature of the Earth, Sea, and Sky, and then He created Man, to fucking annihilate those creatures because they're all gross.

Except Corgis. They can stay.

That's it! I'm cancelling all my future eyeball parasite-related plans.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-11-23

I studied a similar worm that infects humans for my masters that's called onchocerca volvulus, which is spread by biting flies in Africa. The microfilaria can migrate around the body and commonly the eye. This reminds me a lot of that, the horrible pictures associated with it.
And there's another parasite that I can't recall the name of that also loves living in the inside of human eyes. Supposedly the people infected with it can still see, but they have shadows that will come and go in their vision as the worm moves in front of the retina.
Yeah, nature.

Billy the Poet - 2011-11-23

"I studied a similar worm that infects humans for my masters" is a funny sentence.

kwash - 2011-11-23

Exactly how I read that in my head.

Perhaps it's a little wrong of me, but I just can't stop thinking of rave music as I watch this. I don't think my suspension of disbelief has been totally broken.

Sanest Man Alive - 2011-11-23

You could unsee it just fine if you had an iWorm too.
