Ok, I put this on the front page primarily so I could make this post:

There has been a massive influx of videos lately in the hopper with incorrect URLs all starting with www.poetv.com/whateverurl, this video being one of them.
So, to everyone out there reading this (especially the newcomers who have been steadily joining the site over the last few months or so), when you submit a video PLEASE VERIFY THE VIDEO YOU ARE SUBMITTING. Make sure the URL you are copy/pasting is correct...after submitting, the submitter alone can edit everything about the video and you taken directly to a page where you can see if the video works. People aren't checking the videos they're submitting, otherwise you'd see the dozen or so videos in the hopper that all have malformed URLs.

I fucked up one night and sent a shit load of videos into the hopper with malformed IDs.

Truth be told, I check my URLs, but usually only the first one if I'm in the mood to spam, and that one checked out fine. When I put in more videos that basically had the same Youtube style address, I went back and saw all my other videos were garbage.

I don't really know what happened, maybe there was an extra forward-slash in the address?

BTW, have we had GoTimothy here before? I can't tell if I've seen him here or other places.

You don't check the validity of the URL before you post a video to be nice, you do it so StanleyPain doesn't come to your home, break in and stab you in the face while you sleep!
