With the exception of the top of Mt. Hood I've been to all the places in this video, although I'm not sure where the cave or dry lake is.

Gojira1000 - 2011-12-07 The dry lake is probably the one in Malheur County (I forget the name). I noticed a few desert Owyhees shots in there. They blew it by not having more of the Wallowas, though.

When I was a kid I'd look at the map of Oregon and see the south east corner and wonder, "What's down there?" I spent several days driving there only to discover the reason there's nothing on the map is because there's nothing out there. Really, really, nothing. It's a little scary because there are no towns, no gas stations, no other cars on the road... You think to yourself, "If something happened to my car, 20 years from now someone will be sweeping my bleached bones into a paper bag and wondering who I was."
