Part-time congress? What does that even mean?

Cena_mark - 2011-12-07

I thought they already were part time.

VoilaIntruder - 2011-12-07

Holiday-help congress.

5 for Rick Perry being a challenging future Jeopardy answer.

charmlessman - 2011-12-08

Current congress just gets TOO MUCH WORK DONE!

Rudy - 2011-12-08

We must cut welfare because it makes poor people almost as lazy as we are. Now when's my tee time...?

memedumpster - 2011-12-07

Hooker, I am going to five star your video and then derail its purpose a bit, because I have to ask poetv a question, please forgive me...

... did anyone else just see on CNN, like ten minutes ago, that they were interviewing a goddamned hand puppet, a literal hand puppet, about politics? Please tell me it was only brain damage and wasn't real.

jangbones - 2011-12-07

I didn't see it but I believe you. CNN was a little dumb ten years ago and has slid into complete idiocy since then. Its like Yahoo on television.

Xenocide - 2011-12-07

CNN is the most desperate has-been since Rick perry.

Robin Kestrel - 2011-12-08

Next up on CNN: Katy Perry's new haircut, special correspondent Snooki will tell us what she thinks of the lighter color.

The Mothership - 2011-12-07

If you're like me, you know nothing of government, what it does or how it works.

CJH - 2011-12-07

haw haw, turns out i'm even dumber than you thought. but my rueful grin sure is folksy!

memedumpster - 2011-12-07

Oh yeah, watched the video. My official comment is :

He's appealing to the crowd that loved Reagan's second term.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-12-07

Which is complete revisionist history, and the Republicans love deluding themselves about it.

They have this conservative wet dream that he rode in on a horse, took no shit from anyone, and personally pointed a nuke in the Rooskies' faces and made them shit themselves into submission.

If one could go back and listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh at the time, the right wing was collectively calling for Reagan's head because he was daring to negotiate with the Soviets on arms control, he was making compromises, and (gasp) he was raising taxes.

But like Reagan, the GOP doesn't seem to have much in the way of accuracy when it comes to remembering actual events.

memedumpster - 2011-12-07

I, uh, meant the Alzheimer.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-12-08

And in a sense, so did I. It's just collectively expressed.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-12-07

Haha! This parody ad is hilarious.

Oktay - 2011-12-07

Would you vote for me? I'd vote for me... I'd vote for me hard.

Senator_Unger - 2011-12-07

I'm Rick Perry and I have stupid solutions for stupid people.

Xenocide - 2011-12-07

I'm not a slick debater.

I have trouble remembering things.

I'm bad at stuff! Vote for me!

Cena_mark - 2011-12-07

If it came down between Obama and Perry I'd vote Obama.

memedumpster - 2011-12-07

So would Perry, probably by accident.

Xenocide - 2011-12-08

SPIRIT STARS for memedumpster.

Hooker - 2011-12-08

I love how he says he loses his train of thought, admitting that he didn't just forget what the third agency his handlers told him to shit on, he LOST INTEREST IN WHAT HE WAS SAYING LESS THAN FIVE SECONDS AFTER HE BEGAN SAYING IT!

I've said it before, but George Bush on steroids indeed.
