I still say "Gilligan's Island" was the tale of a drug deal thwarted by an unexpected storm, and Mary Ann was an undercover DEA agent.

The truth is weirder. Seven castaways, Seven Deadly Sins.
Skipper: wrath
Mr. Howell: greed
Mrs. Howell: sloth
Professor: pride
Skipper: gluttony
Ginger: lust
Mary Ann: envy

(Yes, I know said the Skipper twice.) So where does that leave bumbling, dimwitted Gilligan? Notice how he's always wearing that red, rugby shirt and it's always Gilligan's supposed "accidents" that keep the castaways on the island? He's the Devil and Gilligan's Island is Hell (and a nice Hell it is if you ask me).

I lived on Camano island for a few years when I was around 10. Never heard that one, thought there was nagging rumors that Tom Cruise lived somewhere on the island.

Worst place I ever lived. Having to pass by that dairy cesspool by the road any time you wanted on or off the island made going to school in Stanwood a horrid experience.
