Both Fed Ex and UPS are basically union busting now by massively cutting the routes of drivers (to save "labor" of course) and, instead, forcing them to take non-priority packages to the USPS (that's right, their competition) so they can finish the delivery for them. Yet, the shipping isn't any cheaper than it was before when the guys brought it to your house directly. I'm sure this has worked out great for driver morale and attitude.
