It could work but... It seems a little much.
Apparently Intrepid Explorers encounter Space Jockey and the annoyed Jockey lets out one or more of it's many bio weapons to kill them. One of the more dangerous ones is... Rather hamhanded and cliched:
NO JOHN, YOU ARE ARE THE WEAPONS.
They seem to try and make up for it by the Bizarro World humans into motherfucking Reavers, the CROSSED, etc. In other words when they catch one of the good guys... Bad stuff happens.
