you normally don't see characters dying as they are introduced

Udderdude - 2012-01-02

FMV games are the future, guys.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-02

Assuming one got out before gamers decided these sucked, I wonder how much cash even a crappy company like this raked in at its peak?

There are still some people who seem to like this stuff (FMV, not this title), as the old Tex Murphy games are available for cheap at GOG.com.

klingerbgoode - 2012-01-03

The Tex Murphy games were excellent, though

EvilHomer - 2012-01-03

They've brought back motion controls, platformers, 2D fighting games, and 3D pictures (with less rad glasses this time around). Surely an FMV retro-revival can't be far off?

A toilet.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-02

So the sheriff is a weird mix of pirate, hobo, and ZZ Top?

Simillion - 2012-01-02

Bewildering.

baleen - 2012-01-02

reminds me of that old youtube video where the guy keeps clicking on the satanic profile and ends up venturing ever further into hell.

I suspect Cow Poker is up to no good in the barn.

baleen - 2012-01-02

IN VIVID SORENSEN COMPRESSION!

BiggerJ - 2012-01-02

Childhood memory: I 'played' an uninteractive demo of this, and an interactive demo of the undoubtedly better (or at least much more coherent) Dust. The two became linked in my mind, like a superego-and-id dichotomy.

Today, I see this as Dust on a bad acid trip.

CrimsonHyperSloth - 2012-01-02

Lots of stock sounds in this game, just after 6:02 I swear that's the marine cry when you select the barracks/academy in the original StarCraft.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-01-03

good old "gut wrenching scream and fall into distance." I'd know that yeeeearrarrggggghghhhghg anywhere.

Gojira1000 - 2012-01-03

That was the academy, wasnt it?

Bhiu - 2012-01-03

Brings back memories of "Inca" and "Lost in Time". My teenage years were filled with shitty games which i refused to stop playing after i stopped enjoying them.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-01-08

It's no Total Distortion, but it's something.
