Is the PoeTV fascination with WWE the same as it's fascination with demoniusx, chris chan, benick112, etc?

Cena_mark - 2012-01-05 Wrestling has been around long before television and will always be on television. Even in the face of MMA it will continue to exist. Its action, comedy, thrills, and chills. Its full of larger than life characters, real life super heroes, and super villains. And yes its a bit cheesy at times.
Its got old time tradition, international tastes, and millions of fans. It certainly deserves a place here, but not on the level of pathetic you're insinuating.

sosage - 2012-01-05 Randy Savage and Botchamania are entertaining. Dunno bout this other stuff.

Cena_mark - 2012-01-05 It really is one of those "either you get it or you don't" things. As a kid my dad would always change the channel when it came on saying it was stupid, but as soon as I started making my own decisions in TV viewing I watched it and was immediately hooked. I'll always have a soft spot for professional wrestling.

dr_rock - 2012-01-05 I used to watch it when I was 8 and it was Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant and crap. Then I grew up. It's made for rednecks and the retarded.

That vignette has been playing for months. I swear they were for a generic monster heel wrestler.
Few people can get away with doing this for their comeback. You swerved everybody (except the smarks yelling Y2J) including me, and I loved it. Welcome back.

Wow, what contempt. I genuinely feel bad for the audience.

Where's Ralphus?

The crowd sticks with him a lot longer than I expected they would. Considering how hyped his return was, this was a brilliant way to get past the initial "return pop" and get Jericho right back into his heel swing.

I don't get it. How is this Kaufman-esque? For that matter, why is this clip on here at all? It seems like another overmuscled wrestler was able to keep the crowd going for almost 10 minutes, and they ended up booing him at the end just because.
It's all kabuki to me.

FABIO - 2012-01-05 How is pro wrestling Kaufman-esque?

themilkshark - 2012-01-06 Andy Kaufman slept in a sleeping bag onstage. He also ate breakfast quietly onstage. When a crowd turned on him at college appearances he read from the Great Gatsby.
Prejudice against a form of entertainment has clouded your thoughts. Either that or you're just a stupid monosyllabic sycophant.
