Oh my god yes I played this over and over. Outstanding game.
Good god, that's some terrible midi synthesis.
I remember the driving music being this awesome synth cover of that one song "pipeline" by the ventures, but holy shit, that's terrible.
Still, yes a good game, but good god midi is horrible.

I used to go over to my friend's place to play this because he had a 33 MHz Intel, 256-color VGA that far outpaced my 11Mhz, 4-color CGA shit box.

The soundtracks to these old games really lose a lot when they're pumped through a soundfont.

Brought back memories of Arctic Fox, another old Dynamix game I used to play in the late 80's. I kind of miss Dynamix, they put out some really great games, some are my all time favorites. They peaked at Tribes 1, but after that...

Shit, I haven't thought about this game in about 20 years. I remembered all the silly character portraits down there. Amazing.

I keep forgetting that activision used to be this cool company that put out a variety of fun games, instead the CoD factory they've become.

Thank you POETV for introducing me to the neologism "Dostalgia". It has a much better ring to it than 'sad, nerdy shit no one but me seems to care about'

Heh. Whoever made the startup screen saw a copy of "Autodeuel," it seems.

I think that theme song is used in Ghosbusters 2 for DOS as well. I just had a total Tandy 1000 flashback.
