I had payed no attention whatsoever to this game while it was in development, but whatever glorious bastard convinced Capcom to include the original Mega Man gets a tip of the hat.
All of these characters look great until Cole shows up and it's like who the fuck is this boring non-entity focus-testing disaster and what is he doing in this awesome videogame trailer?
Tournament nerds, nuff said. The funny thing is, every single one crying about this is most likely going to buy the game anyway, and then the Super Ultra Ultimate Arcade Edition when it comes out 5 months later.
The charm of the "Capcom vs ______" series of games is entirely found in its combination of nostalgia and absurdity. They're probably the most videogamish series of videogames ever produced.
Any community that takes itself really seriously probably doesn't enjoy them at all.
