I adore ravens and crows. ^_^
See them all the time in Alaska. They're smart and huge. I've seen them in groups as small as 3 fighting bald eagles.

I used to work at a ski resort where the local ravens would hang out and surf in the wind gusts around the larger buildings. I have only seen them playing in snow a few times, though.
Listening to a pair of ravens croak ominously to one another was the creepiest moment the avian world has ever given me.
That's 'cause you know they're not just making noises, they're talking about something. Or someone.
Sometimes they make a call that sounds just like Michael Jackson's "OW!"
