I'm surprised that he didn't choke on the word "intolerance."

Eventually, a republican candidate will literally shoot themselves in the foot.
charmlessman - 2012-02-14
I'm honestly not sure which candidate I want to get the Republican nomination. They're all so worthless! It's going to be a thing to behold.
This one scares me the most, and what scares me is that Obama did pretty poorly his first term so I feel there is a chance one of these nutty republicans could win. I'd rather have Romney than this shitty theocrat.
Did authorship of the cena_mark text generating algorithm change hands recently? I've noticed a difference it its performance recently.
the illusion works best when the phrases are vague platitudes instead of direct references to specific things that can contradict current events. Let me see if I can reset it with a comment that generally gets good results:
Boy, those american citizens exercising their first amendment rights sure didn't deserve to get shot in the face with bean bag rounds. What is this country coming to?
Don't get me wrong. I'm still not a big fan of the occupy movement, but I hate Santorum more.
I know right the election is going to be SO close because so many people hate obama. I mean look at these numbers. Anything could happen!
So long as the other option is "insane fascist bigot death worshiping lunatic," the "sellout greedy classist liar" candidate is a shoe-in.
I don't care about Romney's personal beliefs just as long as they know their beliefs don't belong in policy. I feel Romney does that better than Santorum.
What you mean to say is that he's less of a failure at it than Santorum.
Rodents of Unusual Size
I will say this about Romney. He's a sleazeball but on occasion he does make sense. It's not often, but sometimes. Especially in comparison. I have found myself nodding my head, when he isn't deeply offending me, going, yeah I can see that, you got health care for your entire state. Right on.
Santorum is still trying to get back at those Alpha Betas for the toga wedgie incident. I don't think he's quite over it.

"get a job" - what a great patriotic platform
"Ignore my multiple Swiss bank accounts, income tax rate below 15%, and the fact I've never had to actually work a day in my life" goes well with it.
For all the hatred Obama gets from the right, he would never say that phrase to anyone of them, not matter how much he disagreed with them or how loud they got at one of his rallies.
Cause he's not an asshole.
Yet this is now an official GOP talking point used by pretty much all of their candidates save Paul, it's just pathetic.
Vaidency - 2012-02-14
The last time Rick Santorum tried to get a job he lost his bid for reelection to the senate by the largest margin ever for a Republican incumbent.
Fur is Murder
I prefer this one, personally.

IIRC, 70% of Occupy protestors HAVE jobs, and many of those who don't are probably students. Meanwhile the Tea Party has an employment rate of like 50%. If he should be telling anyone to get a job, it's his own inbred adherents.
The upper middle class OWS protestors are fighting for the interests of working class tea partiers because they're too stupid to do it for themselves.

I think he crossed the Vice Presidential candidate Rubicon like a month ago, now it's just suicide.

uuuugggghhhh stop existing
This is a beautiful thing!
The GOP is soo horrified of Romney that they are fluttering from psycho to more pathetic, right wing psycho. What's next after Santorum implodes? A write in campaign for David Duke?
roughnready66 - 2012-02-14
Sweet lord. Is the Emperor Palpatine lighting intentional?
The problem is that the last time the GOP ran a mentally deficient and eventually evil candidate... the idiot actually won the election.
I wish I could send the campaign speeches the Republicans have given in the past decade or so back in time to when even Republican voters would have been horrified that this is what their party has come to. Maybe it'd stop Bush from even being nominated.

Standin' in line
Waitin' for the welfare dime
'Cause they can't buy a job
Man in a silk suit hurries by
And he catches the poor old lady's eye
Just for fun he says
"Get a job"
That's just the way it is
Some things will never change
That's just the way it is
Aw, but don't you believe them.
