Do people who do this imagine that demons are just so incredibly clever they can deliberately talk backwards and forwards at the same time, or do they imagine the minions of hell spending hours with a tape recorder trying to figure out exactly what innocuous phrases they can use to hide their secret messages?

The important thing about Satan is that he never manifest in a form that the faithful would find appealing, for example, a well-groomed preacher who focuses on the gay-hate rather than helping the poor. Sure, he's the embodiment of spiritual corruption and knows the weaknesses of every man woman and child, but he's also an easily-dismissed figure because he'd never actually use what he knows effectively.
