CASE CLOSED!

what's truly sad about this movie is that Lady is a King Charles Spaniel. the king charles spaniel has a genetic disorder where their brain is too large for their skull and they live a horrible brain damaged life.

TeenerTot - 2012-03-19

I always thought she was a cocker spaniel....short tail y'know.

dead_cat - 2012-03-18

Are you fucking kidding me

I don't even know where to start

dead_cat - 2012-03-18

Maybe the part where they used a children's cartoon, and thought themselves clever for doing so. Who is this guy, the VenomfangX of MRAs?

memedumpster - 2012-03-19

ENG101 in colleges across America turn everyone into cherry picking argument seeking televangelists of whatever it is they hate.

so does this guy know the dog's a girl or what

dead_cat - 2012-03-19

Yes, but she's a GOOD GIRL who knows her place and is proud of being controlled by her betters.

glendower - 2012-03-19

Hmm, so the characters with a non-standard accent are evil. I've never seen that before in a Disney movie.

Uulanbaatorbaby - 2012-03-19

Man, I wish feminists really were this devious. WeŽd had equality ages ago!

Boomer The Dog - 2012-03-19

One of my favorite movies, in my top 10, and now it's out in HD. As a younger pup I walked myself to the theater 4 different weekends to see it on matinees on one of its regular releases. I also had the 45 record of He's A Tramp backed with The Siamese Cat Song on side 2.

I don't know about the feminism, but many situations in life are similar to others.

That's awesome. Just never become an MRA or else we might have to put ya to sleep. :)

Here's all you need to know about feminism in dog movie terms. Many people that are not feminists seem to have a lot of strong opinions about feminism even though they don't seem to be reading feminist books or blogs. Their understanding of feminism seems to be stuck in the small sliver of the mid seventies after feminism embraced butch lesbians but before the position against pornography became controversial.

Whenever you hear people bitching about feminism, especially if they mention Andrea Dworkin, imagine they're bitching about Disney movies about dogs. They've somehow gotten Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 confused with Benji and they have no idea that there are multiple Disney movies about dogs or that the one that has made them so angry is not only out of theaters, but was out of theaters almost a decade before they were born.

Boomer The Dog - 2012-03-22

Sudan no1, MRA, man's rights advocate? I'd like it to be Mutt's Rights.. :) If I did, it would be for fun, like if someone did a Church of the Dog or something.

Yes Blue, that sounds like me, thinking in Dog movie plots. Benji was produced by Mulberry Square, but yeah I get what you mean, they got their first impressions from Benji, and they think that's the template for what all Disney Dog movies are about.

It would be great if people just didn't worry about things like feminism, it doesn't seem to really mean much. I don't get why it has to be important, when people could just fight for their rights individually.

Hahaha

pathetique - 2012-03-19

The rampant Disney racism doesn't really help his point at all, either.
