It doesn't matter if Trayvon Martin was high on coke and spraypainting "KILL ALL WHITE PEOPLE" on a house. The guy is not law enforcement. His job is to INFORM law enforcement then let them do their job. Even if you could somehow manage to accept the claim that the kid was beating the shit out of this guy, it still doesn't rise to the level of legal justification for the shooting. Even WITH the stupid "stand your ground" bullshit. The guy was recorded on tape saying that the kid was running away and that he was pursuing; this negates the use of deadly force as a legal defense since you are technically not retreating from the danger. I hope his family sues the living shit out of this pigfucker.

The police found this guy with a gun and a dead black kid and a story so incriminating that it wouldn't even have to be false for him to be guilty of murder. They didn't arrest him or investigate the crime or even call this kid's mother. That's why people are angry. That's why this is a huge issue.

Yes, it's also racist to call Zimmerman's actions manslaughter. Plenty of people do that without realizing how that narrative only works if you accept that it's completely fucking okay to declare yourself the Nigger Patrol and tool around your gated community defending the racial purity of your neighborhood. The story keeps changing, new evidence keeps appearing, that new evidence is working to show Zimmerman's death. I don't think it was plotted murder, but Zimmerman should go to prison.
