The Muppets from last year has music by Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords, and is a fantastic film in every respect. They won the oscar for best song, IIRC.

I read somewhere that in the first year the Academy presented the Oscars, Rin Tin Tin got the most votes for "Best Actor" and they had to change the rules so that only a human could win.
I've always thought it a grave injustice that Kermit the Frog didn't get Best Actor.
