I think I'm beginning to see where all those "reporters" from the Weekly World News went to find work.

He's an alien himself. Specifically, he's a Centauri from Babylon-5.

TimidAres - 2012-05-08

I'm pretty sure they've moved all these new-age shows to History Channel 2. Though I've seen reruns on History Channel recently.
Theres literally only a handful of shows broadcast on History channel these days anyway, and the best one has to be American Pickers.
If you watch very closely, the 2 guys on that show seem to have a very strained relationship. The body language gives it away. The tall guy is constantly putting down the shorter guy, sometimes not very subtley. Often it will happen when they're driving around, looking for places to stop. It usually ends in awkward silences that can magically be cut short through the power of editing, but you know that it was a painfully uncomfortable ride for both of them until they found their next stop.
Never before on television have I seen a more awkward, passive-aggressive tug of war than is shared between these two men.

well post it already

If you look at their store's website, Frank the short one is never mentioned and tall guy's picture is all over the place.

Billy the Poet - 2012-05-08

Why doesn't this have an "assonauts" tag?

Billy the Poet - 2012-05-08

Alright, NOW why isn't the assonauts tag linked?

glasseye - 2012-05-08

What.

TeenerTot - 2012-05-08

I used to believe in stuff like this. Then I turned eight.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2012-05-08

Still better than a million warhawk documentaries about world war II

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2012-05-08

I miss the Hitler channel. At least back then it wasn't the Speculation and Reality History Channel.

Riskbreaker - 2012-05-08

But.....THE NAZIS HAD UFOS! AND MADE PACTS WITH THE DEVIL! USED SORCERY!

BHWW - 2012-05-08

Even some of their decent shows like Cities of the Underworld are not immune from the History Channel Effect - they had an episode where among other things they were talking about an old mine in Czechoslovakia that supposedly STILL has Hitler's secret Doomsday machine hidden inside it that would burrow to the CENTER OF THE EARTH AND START A CHAIN REACTION WITH ALL THE URANIUM IN THE EARTH'S CORE CAUSING THE PLANET TO EXPLODE!

They even topped it off with an animated demonstration of the device. It was red and had a big swastika on it just to make sure you knew it was a Nazi superweapon - like something Hellboy would show up in the nick of time to destroy.

Someone needs to hold this man down and shave his head. If every word out of your mouth directly contributes to the death of knowledge, you don't get to have crazy scientist hair. Ever.

StanleyPain - 2012-05-08

I'm not saying that the giants who used to walk the earth were the result of ancient astronauts impregnating Earth women thousands of years ago, but....

It was ancient astronauts impregnating Earth women thousands of years ago

hammsangwich - 2012-05-08

I'm no biblical scholar, but I'm 99% sure there was nothing in the old testament about "gods" having sex with Earth women.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-05-09

Yeah he was thinking of Earth Girls Are Easy.

fatatty - 2012-05-09

Not to come to the defense of Georgio Sucralose but...

Genesis 6:4
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And as we all know the Bible was never wrong.

oddeye - 2014-05-08

It were also fallen angel types cuckolding the locals.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-05-08

My dad used to watch the History Channel religiously, and every time I'd walk through the room they were talking about 2012 DOOMSDAY COUNTDOWN TO ARMAGEDDON RAPID POLE SHIFT etc.

Just for the hell of it, I flipped it on a few weeks ago while board. It was a show all about how the Denver International Airport was built by the Freemasons with an underground city where they're going to headquarter their new world order, how the murals inside are a depiction of what's going to happen in 2012, how the runways form a giant swastika, and how the giant blue horse statue curses people. Alex Jones from Inforwars.com (I shit you not) was the "expert" hired to speak on this topic, and proceeded to explain how the Masons worship Lucifer and Washington D.C. is structured to form a gigantic pentagram and how they're all enslaving us for a one world government.

I guess actual history became too boring for The History Channel, much like music became mundane for Music Television.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-05-09

I follow this guy on Twitter. He's essentially a PUA with an attempted Indiana Jones gimmick.

Chalkdust - 2012-05-09

"It belongs in a museum!"
(point to schlong)

Riskbreaker - 2012-05-09

Be sure to check his facebook, the guy has embraced his meme status on the web with joy. Also, lots of photos of him being a super bro.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-05-08

This reminds me, tonight they'll be showing "Ken Burns Civil War" on The Bullshit Channel .
