I had to talk myself into watching it. Wasn't quite so bad in the end. Nothing explodes, at least, which qualifies it as "not so bad" in the realm of botfly grading.

Fuck botflies. They are unnecessary horrors and they attack the cutest of creatures: squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, puppies and now kitties.

I have no problem with botflies putting all the holes they want into squirrels. The little garden-digging, plant-destroying, bird-feeder-ransacking fuckers deserve every flesh-eating scourge nature can provide.

Yeah they're super gross and awful to think about. And yet, Botflies are pretty much the cream-puffs of the myriad horrors that Nature has to offer.

I had to hold back tears when i saw how shredded that little kitten's neck was. Poor baby, I bet he did that to himself trying to itch that nasty maggot out.

I was actually glad I watched it. It was prtetty simple. Not a lot of suffering. I think that vet probably has a nice touch with animals, but there's no doubt that kitten is a tough little bastard.
