I remember the premiere episode of this show, which was probably the one and only time they brought out the alligators I'm guessing. From what I recall it was pretty anti-climactic.

I had the NES game as a kid, and I didn't even know there was a TV show until years later.

It wasn't that bad of a game. Instead of taking place on the track, it was a Double Dragon clone where you fought street punks and dodged helicopter fire.
