"Cantaloupe, the Italian Greyhound loves to steal things off my friend's desk. You could walk out of the bedroom for a minute and something else would disappear."
So the disappearing thing totally distracted them from everything else that had been knocked over or pushed around?

Am I the only one that cringed when it started trying to steal the cactus?

Once we set up a camera to watch my dog when we left the house...
She pushed a chair out from the table so she could use it to get up ON the table, from which she climbed onto the kitchen counter. Counter was "U" shaped around the kitchen, so she'd disappear behind a wall before reappearing on the other side (having jumped the sink). Finally, she jumped from the counter to table to floor with her booty--a plum.
Upon viewing, my mom said, "So THAT'S where all my fruit has been going!"
Dogs are awesome.

I have a miniature dachshund that does this.
If you've ever been around miniature dachshunds, you realize that that's quite a feat for a dog of his physical stature.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2012-05-29 Our family used to have one. There was no place he couldn't get into.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-05-30 Yeah, my dachshund even does the little test bounces this dog does before jumping up anywhere.

Somehow, Cantaloupe is an excellent name for a dog. And you could shorten it to 'loupe.

spikestoyiu - 2012-05-30 I don't know if I've ever heard a food-themed pet name that I haven't liked. When my buddy told me his kitten was named Tomato, I think I laughed for two days straight. Because I'm an idiot.
