Fine, but look at what Blizzard's pander policy created in Diablo 3. Bland, repetitive, predictable shit. WoW's success is simply a social and cultural phenomenon. Blizzard was nice to the horde that mutally agreed, "hey, let's just make WoW the MMO that everyone plays." WoW isn't a special game at all, just a stroke of luck that's given Blizzard way too much money.

Blizzard has money to start innovating and fucking their customers over a little, but Diablo 3 was predictable and shitty. They need to step up and start coming up with interesting titles while they can, and stop leaving it to all the 2nd-place game makers to do it (and inevitably fail given their woeful funding).

I find it funny that blizzard was ever popular. Such awful games.

I take that back, they peaked at WC2 (which was fun) and havent evolved since. That's nice someone made a super mario level in starcraft 2 but it's still a stale piece of gum that belongs in the trash.

Blizzard isn't a bad company, but their games aren't hardly as innovative as they like to say. Periodically, they release a new set of shiny things for people to tackle, only THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO RUN IN CIRCLES DURING THE FIGHT, or THIS TIME ITS IN A JUNGLE, or THIS TIME YOULL BE FLYING AS YOU SPELLCAST. Either way, they still want you to spend all your waking time in their stupid game that is still essentially the same it has been for the past 7 years.
