This game brings back memories of leaving a conversation out of pure, overwhelming embarrassment.

(as an aside, he has a video entitled "in defense of rape" where the top voted comment was by none other than...PurpleXVI! I fucking hate this site.)

Pipe, bad cel-shade filter... wow. Given his views, I hope he doesn't seem surprised when he gets beaten up and set on fire followed by the guy who almost killed him escaping imprisonment on a "he was asking for it, look at how he was dressed and acting" defense.

They put on a good expo but other than that they are useless.

That and they come off as unpleasant people, the bald, pasty pompous Morlock uses a dozen poorly chosen words where a handful will do and the scarecrow-man who seems to flip-flop between portraying himself as the nicest guy in the world because he helped set up a charity and portraying himself as a tough guy because he does things like hassle some hapless company representative during a phone call.

I mostly hate Penny-Arcade on creative grounds. Most of their comics are two people standing and talking to each other, and usually it's two panels of talk about whatever the fuck, and then a third panel shoehorning in some lousy humour.

A charity that collects cash money to buy video games for hospitals. That's about as admirable as hosting a fundraiser to make sure that homeless shelters are fully stocked with dirty magazines. What kind of gall does it take to toot your own horn over something like that?

Putting a quarter into a Jimmy Fund display does more good than all the money Childs Play has and will ever raise.

90% of the comics take some announcement or press release and churn out the same joke the entire internet already made about it a week ago. Zero effort to expanding on the joke. Never any secondary gags. Nothing visually interesting going on, most strips are just them standing there talking to thin air.

Tycho contends it takes a second guy as dedicated writer to come up with this stuff. Gabe is every awful bitter vindictive "nice guy" stereotype personified. Both are still bitter over highschool, letting news posts tell their former classmates "Now I drive a fucking Mercedes."

I'm surprised none of you mentioned the dickwolves controversy. They made an off-color joke on their comic, someone asked for a trigger warning, and they basically sicced the internet on the poor girl. She and anyone who tried to help her basically got rape and murder threats constantly(and often publically where Gabe could see it, like on Twitter). Gabe only put a stop to it when someone from the other side basically said, "How would you like it if I were to hypothetically say that I was going to come to your house and rape and murder your family, like what's been happening to us?" Then he decried the TERRIBLE threat that was done to him and said that he was going to be above all this riff-raff and call for an end to it.

Supporting a tentacle rape game? Color me not surprised.

I don't even think you could play it to try and make fun of it or something--it just looks too damn boring. Besides snatching girls TEEHEE, it's just a card game with some panty shots.
