he was so much better right after he left the eagles

StanleyPain - 2012-07-03

Don't forget folks, this is the guy suing the state he lives in for the right not to pay child support which he already pretty much doesn't pay.

Nikon - 2012-07-03

This guy defines class. He is a classy guy.

Cherry Pop Culture - 2012-07-03

I hope the kids in his home state grow up and learn not to emulate him.

Ursa_minor - 2012-07-03

Goddamn, what an incredible dirtbag.

Binro the Heretic - 2012-07-03

What about the assholes applauding him?

NewHeavenSalesman - 2012-07-03

you could fill this room with sarin gas, and not a single thing of value would be lost.

Christ, there's even a dude in jorts.

SolRo - 2012-07-03

you'd end up using losing a vial of sarin gas.

Chalkdust - 2012-07-03

SolRo made the joke I was gonna make

SolRo - 2012-07-04

the only way to fix the problem is to go into the room with a machette. that way the only thing that would be lost is the sharpened edge, and that is easly fixed.

Camonk - 2012-07-04

SolRo, you gotta learn to go out on a high note. You only get one like once every six or seven years, so immediately stop and bow out, or you ruin it. Like this.

Toenails - 2012-07-03

Lady who talks about her service = Mouthy broads.

Yeah, she lost two limbs in combat, but when was the last time she made me a sandwich?

Love Always,
Joe Walsh

StanleyPain - 2012-07-03

Of course, when McCain was running for President we had to hear about his fucking military service every 10 minutes.

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-07-03

i cannot think of a fate horrible enough for me to be satisfied with this man ever existing

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-07-03

How does he know that her handlers didn't throw her against the wall to get her to talk about her service? After all, it would have been fairly easy.

Cena_mark - 2012-07-03

Its kind of inevitable for a triple amputee. Its not like she can meet people without somebody asking about her lack of appendages.
This is worse than what swift boating of Kerry. Republicans are so willing to shit on the services if their guy doesn't have any military experience.

dead_cat - 2012-07-04

I've always wondered what would happen if two candidates with military service ran against each other.

Hailey2006 - 2012-07-03

Yeah, but has HE ever served!

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-07-03

Obviously not. The military's standards haven't dropped THAT low.

dead_cat - 2012-07-04

Of course not. Walsh didn't want to make the other veterans look terrible by out-heroing them all from his military desk job.

American Standard - 2012-07-03

So all that "Support the Troops" jazz so popular with the right only goes so far, eh.

Can't say I'm in the least bit surprised.

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-07-05

Republicans have always had the utmost respect for the ROLE of American soldiers.

They falter when it comes to actually caring about the human beings that play the part.

The Mothership - 2012-07-04

This is just.... rotten.

dead_cat - 2012-07-04

"True Heroes have wieners and hire scores of people to talk about their service FOR them."

TheSupafly - 2012-07-04

"Life's been good to me so faaaaaar!"

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-07-04

Republicans see themselves as winners. It's their primary ethic, what life is all about for them, and that absolutely means personal attacks on war heros when they happen to be Democrats. It's not that the LIKE doing it. I'm sure that smearing war heroes is distasteful to Mr. Walsh. It's just that winning is everything. To a Republican, losing is far more shameful than smearing a war hero.

Mister Yuck - 2012-07-04

Just so you guys know, the real Joe Walsh just threw a fundraiser concert for Duckworth last weekend:

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-07-04

From the news today...

"In response to the Democratic criticism, Walsh issued a statement calling the controversy a "political ploy to distort my words and distract voters."

"Of course Tammy Duckworth is a hero," he said. "I have called her a hero hundreds of times."

He added, though, that most veterans he has met since entering Congress rarely talk about their service or combat experiences while "that is darn near all of what Tammy Duckworth talks about."

McCain, too, has been a target of Walsh, who last spring said voters elected Barack Obama because he was an African-American historic figure and added: "It helped that John McCain was about 142 years old." "

joelkazoo - 2012-07-04

It's more a case of Duckworth is missing 3 of her libs, thus it's more likely someone will ask her "what happened to you?" in comparison to a veteran who does have all their limbs, and can walk down the street undetected. My aunt's husband served 3 active tour of duties in Vietnam, and told absolutely nothing about it until her death 30 years later, not because he didn't want to talk about it, but because nobody bothered to ask him.

Camonk - 2012-07-04

What surprises me about this more than anything is that anybody is actually surprised by this. This is the country that applauded a dude dying because of a lack of health care. This is the country that elected Bush twice. Being surprised how awful Americans are is like being surprised when the sun comes up.

Robin Kestrel - 2012-07-04

Not all Americans, not even the majority, I'd say. But the worst of the right wingers just keep getting more and more extreme... to me its seems like they are about two steps away from being the Nazi party of the 21st century, yeah.
