Got a bad case of pig-head, use Vitalis.

TheSupafly - 2012-07-03

This was in one of the versions I watched as a kid, I don't remember if it was television or an early VHS release.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-07-04

"Children's" movies.

Old_Zircon - 2012-07-04

I remember being a kid pretty well. More than enough to know that this should be the base-line of scariness for a children's movie.

You know what's a good kids' movie? The Birds. That movie blew my mind when I was 6 or 7.

Riskbreaker - 2012-07-04

I saw Robocop when i was 8

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-07-04

I saw Chronenberg's The Fly when I was 7.

Adham Nu'man - 2012-07-04

I was the baby in Eraserhead.

heyitslozeau - 2012-07-05

I saw the Zapruder film when I was a fetus.

big pincers - 2012-07-06

my dad rented Robocop from the mom and pop video store when I was 8. It was the most violent movie I had seen up until that point and I remember being greatly disturbed.

Riskbreaker - 2012-07-04

PIG MAN BABY!

The Mothership - 2012-07-04

I can see why they cut this, it's unnecessary for the plot; but 5 for the eyes going down the drain and the cloud killing the witch.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-07-04

Actually, the more I think about it, the idea of the "dip" being introduced early-third act does seem a little strange without a reference to turpentine as an anti-"toon" cleaning mechanism. I mean, as a kid, I just assumed it was the same as Nickelodeon Slime, and therefore universally bad. As an adult I realize, PERHAPS TOO LATELY SO, that it was an unreferenced plot device.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-07-04

*pipe smoke*

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2012-07-04

The very first time they introduce Doom he shows off the dip by killing off an anthropomorphic cartoon shoe.

FABIO - 2012-07-05

Huh? How the hell did you forget THE SHOE??!

Kabbage - 2012-07-04

Up until that last scene of the pig face hitting the shower floor like thrown-up pork chowder, not so bad. Then, pure, genuine horror.

DrDoalot - 2012-07-04

I just wanted to thank poetv for showing me this... thing.

It is not often something ends up on the cutting room floor and asks you why.

Simillion - 2012-07-04

It's funny because you can clearly see his whole normal human face in the pig's mouth, so really he's just very upset that he is being forced to wear a very unstylish hat

Camonk - 2012-07-04

Hats were very important in those days

dead_cat - 2012-07-05

That's how the toon mafia sends a warning.

Hugo Gorilla - 2012-07-04

In the original trailer, there's a clip of Eddie Valiant wearing the pig head.

big pincers - 2012-07-06

yeah I remember the pig bonnet being in the trailer and then was confused when it didn't ever happen. There were also some scenes from the Addams Family movie that were in the trailer but ended up on the cutting room floor.

bopeton - 2012-07-04

I remember seeing this in the actual film. I don't know when it became "deleted".
