Xenocide - 2012-07-06
Five minutes later, nothing whatsoever has happened! Fun?

BiggerJ - 2012-07-06 This is basically the evolution of Hussie's previous comic, Problem Sleuth. Problem Sleuth was full of dicking around, and ended up having greater themes. Homestuck gets out of the dicking-around quicker (for some definition or other of quicker), further explores the cosmic themes touched upon in Problem Sleuth, and also introduces social themes from the beginning. His next project will likely explore previously-explored and new themes in a similar way.

Now I get it, this thing is about having videogame-flavored autism. The ullillillia experience. It's not so bad when I look at it that way.

BiggerJ - 2012-07-06 I always thought it was partly about what it would be like to live in a video game. To not only have to deal with gameplay mechanics, but also have your life's path and criteria for success and failure set in stone.

BiggerJ - 2012-07-06 Oh, I just remembered about Uli's 'mind game'. Wow. How did I not make the connection.

No friends or life experience to draw from, the game, the comic, the narrated video.

BHWW - 2012-07-06
This is an awful, convoluted comic that would seem to have been deliberately engineered to appeal to a variety of some of the worst sorts of internet people as judging by the enthusasitc (and awful) fanbase.
FIVE STARS.

30 seconds of this reaffirmed my kneejerk hatred of nearly every non-Achewood web comic.
