have you heard this one before?

Two assholes meet each other in a bar...

Chalkdust - 2012-07-11

A conservative, a liberal and a moderate walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "Hey Mitt".

Hooker - 2012-07-11

Spirit bulb to Chalkdust.

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2012-07-11

He may have been rude and ignorant, but I have to admire his straightforward honesty.

Old_Zircon - 2012-07-12

That old guy was kind of rude, too.

Sadly, Romney is a normal fundamentalist Christian now. We know this because he's a pro-life, low-tax, laissez-faire creationist; by today's working definitions, that makes him a true Christian.

Hooker - 2012-07-11

By the way, to all the fuck-all-Republicans-and-eat-their-corpses people on here, you'll be pleased to know that if the Canadian election last year is relevantly similar to your election, there's an interesting result.

Like Romney, the leader of the political party unofficially called "Canada's Natural Governing Body," The Liberal Party (don't let the name fool you; they are centrist socially and centre-right economically), Michael Ignatieff, failed to get any traction with the public, seemed petrified by taking any stand on anything, and was always one or more steps behind the other two major parties. The result saw the Liberal Party decimated, if decimated is even a strong enough word, and the party is in total disarray with even an outside chance that they might fold altogether.

So, food for thought.

Blue - 2012-07-11

Liberals. That's what we call our center right politicians too!

Toenails - 2012-07-11

That's only because Canadians have never heard of a rhino before.

BillLumbergh - 2012-07-11

you tell him you old aspie bastard

IrishWhiskey - 2012-07-11

Look, I'm sure that man was just taking a principled stand against the Mormon church's habit of violating tax laws by hiding assets and using them for political influence, it's history of discrimination against women and racial minorities, and the coercive influence it wields over some communities by intimidating or shunning those who disobey patriarchal church leaders or don't tithe sufficiently.

I'm sure it's not because he thought the obvious fraud of Joseph Smith is unacceptable to the obvious fraud of whatever other nearly identical religion he believes in.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-07-12

Pretty much, yep.

kingarthur - 2012-07-12

You for got to mention their continued undermining of equal rights for homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders. Not to mention their direct contribution to Utah's youth suicide and youth homeless problems.

Old_Zircon - 2012-07-12

How can they be undermining the rights of homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders when homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders don't even exist, right?

Screwtape - 2012-07-11

Please, he'll fall in line like the rest of the disciplined Republicans have. If there's one thing about fascists its a desire to conform.

Koda Maja - 2012-07-12

I don't want being Mormon to be the reason Romney doesn't get elected -- but if it helps, so be it.
