this is up there with the careful, loving shirt ironing video.

Slumgullion - 2012-07-25

doesn't seem like the kind of construction that would stand up to a gentle earthquake. i guess they don't worry about that kind of thing wherever ol' paddy mccinderblock works.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2012-07-25

It will be very strong. You only need mortar in specific spots. A well built wall doesn't waste mortar.

duck&cover - 2012-07-25

A documentary by Ken Burns.

PUNCH

Binro the Heretic - 2012-07-25

NO! Don't punch it!

It'll drop as cobblestone and you'll have to bake it all over again!

Hegemony Cricket - 2012-07-25

This is something I am simply not capable of doing. I've tried. I watched a master bricklayer wield a trowel and shape mortar like this and thought, "Well, that sure looks easy."

It is not. This is magic.

And by that, I mean I'm too lazy to practice and therefore write it off to faith and demonic contracts that such skills exist.

In other words: This is the fucking Steve Vai as Satan's guitarist in Crossroads of brick laying and my soul would have been burned up quick smart had I ever had to face him.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-07-25

But that can't be true. Manual labor is beneath contempt, or they'd teach how to do this in colleges, which should be de-funded anyway.

Mitt Romney 2012.

fatatty - 2012-07-25

Construction is definitely one of the least appreciated occupations in this country despite how important it is and how skilled the workers are. It takes years to perfect most of the jobs they perform, most of the foremen know calculus and the lack of buildings falling over should make people appreciate the precision with which they do their jobs.

But we mostly just bitch about the extra traffic.

chumbucket - 2012-07-25

Once again, poeTV does not disappoint on the comments.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-07-25

If you do something a couple thousand times a day for about 30 years you'll get pretty good at it too.

Triggerbaby - 2012-07-25

Casually perfect.

Enjoy - 2012-07-25

I like to lay pipe

American Standard - 2012-07-25

He's making it look dead easy. That's how you know it's hard to do.

Bort - 2012-07-25

Nary a wasted movement or dollop of mortar.

Waiting for the porn parody, starring Cindy Bloxxx.

SchlongChimp - 2012-07-26

Fuck that guy...it just makes me mad...for that five stars

BorrowedSolution - 2013-11-18

Yeah, it's a lot harder than it looks.

And so damned satisfying once you start to get the hang of it. I can do this. Not this fast or smoothly, but I can.

fluffy - 2014-08-31

I just spent 5 minutes watching someone lay bricks and being envious of that skill.

BorrowedSolution - 2014-09-07

Blocks, you heathen. BLOCKS.
