The first paragraph is a direct response to the line "Wow, this movie is terrible and whoever made this needs to be shot". I basically echo that message. It doesn't really add to the conversation, but seriously, fuck that movie.

In the second paragraph, I echo the "die cis scum" message, but restrict it to a very specific group of people that say a particularly offensive and stupid thing in a specific situation. I am a transwoman, this has happened to me, and when it happens I express a sentiment similar to "die cis scum".

What part of this isn't self explanatory? Is there a an unclear antecedent in there? I do that sometimes.

I dunno, maybe i'm just annoyingly old fashioned, but I figure it does a lot to totally derail and erode your progressive social cause when you try to use massive logical fallacies to excuse offensive hyperbole against the oppressors using the same thin excuses that the oppressors use to justify their own behavior.
Pretty much every day LGBT people have to endure endless hate speech disguised as "jokes" flung at them by bigots and the bigots, many times, get passes from the media and society at large by dressing it up as "*wink* *wink* OH DON'T TAKE IT SO SERIOUSLY", so I don't really see that as a viable excuse for turning around and doing it to people who don't deserve that shit either. You can spin and spin and try to argue 'Oh no, the "die cis scum' is only meant for SPECIFIC PEOPLE, but it falls apart just the same as when dumb racist or sexist people say something like "I know there's some good negroes out there, but damnit most of them are criminals!" Being edgy and all that shit in the name of drawing attention to a cause means that you have to walk a super, super fine line between knowing where to draw the line and where that line ceases to be clever social satire and when it's just attention-whoring so you can feel like you're doing something for a movement apart from blogging or whatever. So, again, maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think double standards are still a pretty stupid thing to be cool with when trying to argue for social equality.

There's a tremendous difference in the amount of power held by the different parties. Transpeople can't even credibly claim to not associate with cisgender people. Even those of us that separate ourselves as much as possible still depend on cisgender employers, customers, friends or family members.

If I tell you I don't like cis people you can reasonably assume that I wouldn't dare say that shit in front of my own friends. If a cis person says they don't like transpeople not only is it plausible that they actually have like minded people to hang out with, but it's pretty likely that the average cop, judge, or employer will agree with them.

It's an important distinction to make, but not so much when it's a response to a false equivalency nobody made.
