Oh no I could totally tell by looking at you and listening to you speak.

By the way, is it simply perfectly ok to just make shit up on the tv in america these days?

StanleyPain - 2012-08-31

Oh man..this delivered in ways that were not intended. The speakers on my laptop are a bit off and the left speaker doesn't always work. For some reason, the dialog in this only comes through the left speaker so when I first played it, it was just the tinkly music with her talking and not saying anything. Very David Lynchian I must say.

until i read your comment i thought that was the gag which just made me laugh harder. five stars

The crying fetuses really are the untold story in the abortion debate. What?

Rudy - 2012-08-31

So the brain vacuum they use missed a little bit? I'm off to donate to Planned Parenthood. They obviously need more money for equipment maintenance.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-08-31

CRAZY EYES

Corpus Delectable - 2012-08-31

If we vote Republican, what will happen to the nation's supply of crazy-eyed damaged-goods freaky bitches?

Won't somebody think of the anal sex?!

StanleyPain - 2012-08-31

I'm convinced this woman is a fraud and a liar. She claims to have survived a saline abortion. This, in and of itself, is not entirely outside the realm of possibility. Only I cannot find a single shred of any corroborating evidence that her story is remotely true. I spent an inordinate amount of time looking through the internet for some time attempting to find some sort of verification that her story is true and I cannot find a single story or article or biography of her that does not source from either a pro-life campaign of some sort, or a right-wing website or blog. What I did find, however, is that there was a lengthy debate on Wikipedia whether or not to keep an article on her despite there being absolutely no evidence she's an abortion survivor whatsoever. In the end, even the cretins at WP deleted her article and locked re-creation of it.

The evidence against her bullshit story is that: 1.) she's probably too young for this story to wash...saline abortions haven't been used in about 25-30 years 2.) she fits the profile of someone who has cerebral palsy due to premature birth and has parlayed it into a bullshit story about being aborted.

StanleyPain - 2012-08-31

Oh and 3.) who the fuck does an abortion on a 7 month old baby (which is WAY too late in the game to be using a saline procedure)

Stanley, are we equally awful and skeptical people? Probably. I just spent a hour doing the same exact thing you did. Conclusion: I don't buy her story, either. No evidence outside biased-beyond-reason anti-choice sites repeating the exact same story a dozen times between them.

StanleyPain - 2012-09-01

It reminds me of that Don Piper asshat. He's the guy who claims he died in a car wreck for 90 minutes and was in heaven all that time, and was then sent back to bring God's message to earth or some bullshit. Despite the fact that a man being clinically dead for an hour and a half then coming back to life would be a medical miracle bound straight for dozens of journals, there's is absolutely no record of even the supposed accident this guy had. Yet, millions of people believe his made-up story without even the most microscopic amount of skepticism. In short, I hate people who are both religious AND desperately gullible to the point of monumental stupidity.

misterbuns - 2012-08-31

00:31 that framing is so unpleasant.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-08-31

If what she's saying is true (and it isn't, but let's pretend it is so that my tasteless joke can go through), then I fully support funding a Planned Parenthood "Finishing The Job After The Fact" hit squad.

Cherry Pop Culture - 2012-08-31

Pro-lifers scare the shit outta me. Back in the day, my grandmother gave money to a friend of my mother's. She was a teenager with no one to turn to. Abortion was her only option at the time.

I refuse to live in that kind of world. Damned evil.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-08-31

Wait, if she "survived," does this mean PP had to give someone a refund?

memedumpster - 2012-08-31

She's lucky, she couldn't form memories at the time, the nurse probably needed therapy.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-08-31

Oh Christ, I hate election years.

Years ago, I was once polled about "partial birth" abortion. I was given three choices: Should it never be permitted, should it always be permitted, or should it be permitted only to save the life of the mother.

The position of the President at the time, Bill Clinton, to protect the health of the mother, was not one of the three permitted answers, and therefore the poll was manipulative bullshit. I asked if any other answers were permitted. They weren't.

What I'm skeptical about is that a baby who survives an abortion doesn't have any constitutional rights until they've been ratified by the Illinois State Senate. If you're alive outside of the womb, you have constitutional rights. Tell me what those four votes were about, tell me EVERYTHING that they were about, and maybe I'll have an answer.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-08-31

inb4 thousands of blogposts about how those nasty liberals said mean things about this plucky abortion survivor on the internet.

dead_cat - 2012-09-01

So... what?

She claims to have survived a rare medical procedure (late-term abortion). I don't see how this is relevant to the vast majority of abortions, which are performed so early in the pregnancy that there is no chance of survival, much less an indictment of the practice itself.

There are people who survive execution attempts too. Of course, prisoners aren't cuddly and innocent-looking, and outlawing their executions wouldn't also be declaring half the population of the country to be worth less as people than any fertilized ovum they may be harboring.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-09-01

I don't usually like to talk about this, but I'm a survivor of abstinence-only education. If the attempts of conservatives to keep my mother from having sex before marriage had succeeded, my life would have been over before it began.

Syd Midnight - 2012-09-05

Late-term abortions must be performed if God orders them, I'm pretty sure there's precedent in the Bible. Someone needs to interview the doctor, if he says God told him to go ahead with it then her continued existence is in defiance of Gods Will and her blood shall be up on her. That'd be my rebuttal.
