I knew, second-hand, some fellow who had one of those "countdown to 18" calenders for the Olsen twins - surprise, he was a creepy, awkward guy with bad hygiene. I wonder if he was disappointed or pleased they grew up to be a couple of methhead-skinny rodent-women?

I remember when this came out they advertised it to hell and back, particularly on tv. That was odd for an Olsen Twins film, as was its theatrical release.
I remember my father being particularly concerned when my then six year old brother wanted to see it, and badly.
Turned out okay though. My mom managed to talk him put of it by telling him if she took him to see it then she wouldn't have money to take him to the Spongebob movie a few months later. It worked.

When I worked at a movie theater lo those many years ago and this movie came out, it was one of the emptiest theaters in memory. In box office, people asked me a number of times how bad it was. My answer was "imagine the worst movie you've ever seen and then...drill a hole in your head as you're watching it."
RIP Eugene Levy's dignity. You died with this film and the many direct to video American Pie sequels.

Everyone is hating on this film as if the poeTV demographic was the intended audience for this film and the film therefore sucks because it failed to meet your expectations.
Does this film suck? Yes. But it sucks because we're not 12 year old girls... well, most of us anyway.

I really, really love that this movie choked the life out of the Mary Kate and Ashley film legacy. They honestly have no right to be famous, they were cast as BABIES on a show that ran far too long. At no point did either of them develop acting ability, charisma or even grow into pretty ladies. They're not ugly, but I have a hard time not comparing their facial contortions to chimps at the zoo.
