I don't think I've seen a single useful youtube video tutorial. The kind of person who feels the need to make one has very little idea of what non-autists find helpful. It's always a meticulous overview of every possible tool while skipping over the most useful need to know basics.
It's especially weird for any kind of video editing tutorial. You'd think those guys out of anyone would be able to throw in a little flash or even some subtitles, but it's never more than their straight FRAPS recording.
Blender. If you ever decide to learn that particular nightmare, the entire community is useless and violently opposed to people learning it, except for about four stoned teenagers on YouTube. It's the only way it can be learned without infinite amounts of hate being thrown at you for any question you might have.
