I disagree, Gretchen. I think that was just the right amount of seriousness for your wonderfully informative and evenhanded "news" show.

themilkshark - 2012-09-17

He seems just as self absorbed and unintelligent as most of his generation.

jangbones - 2012-09-17

I am positive that a large percentage of Fox and Friends' regular audience had literally no idea that the dude was trolling

Hooker - 2012-09-17

There were no dumb people when the themilkshark went to school (if themilkshark went to school).

Cherry Pop Culture - 2012-09-17

Hooker, we all know kids never dropped out of school or had disciplinary problems or became teen mothers before 1980. These are recent inventions!

Maggot Brain - 2012-09-17

"So I had an onion tided to my belt, witch was the style at the time..."

chumbucket - 2012-09-17

He did well to get on and was superb with the miss America thing but he let his troll hand get away from him a bit too early. I would have loved to see her get roped in a bit more before he pulled the rug out.

Cena_mark - 2012-09-17

Agreed. He looked like a jackass through most of the interview. Master trolls make their marks look like the jackasses.

svraz - 2012-09-17

Except when they drag it out way too long. Right Cena?

Cena_mark - 2012-09-17

Dragging it out is a victory as well. Its about keeping the marks hooked with subtlety. This guy immediately set off red flags and thus got cut early.

schwaeg87 - 2012-09-17

I agree with Cena. this could have been a lot better. he got on national TV and choked. he started off okay but got obviously rattled when they started questioning if he was taking the interview seriously. the slow play is always the best way to go on these things. he could have made it seem like he was a romney supporter and then say the reason he is a romney supporter is because of all the ridiculous shit romney is for or has done.

Konversekid - 2012-09-17

Totally agreed. I personally would have gone for how positive Romney will be for the economy. Then go on to explain that you respect him because he doesn't take shit from working people and will just fire them. Really I could imagine how I would put it all day long.

This guy missed a great opportunity.

memedumpster - 2012-09-17

It's Fox, if he had pretended to like Romney in believable ways his face would be used in pro-Romney ads forever, and they would have edited out the trolling parts, leaving only the lies their viewers can't discern.

He did the only thing he could to not help Mitt Romney.

Cena_mark - 2012-09-17

Because the Fox and Friends audience is really on the fence this election.

Gallez - 2012-09-17

So indistinguishable from a real idiot with nothing to say doing a shit interview that it may as well be one.

memedumpster - 2012-09-17

It took her almost two minutes to figure this out. That is the genius of this. He sat there and said "I'm a troll I'm a troll I'm a troll" and she didn't get it forever, then ended by saying they might give him another chance.

Chancho - 2012-09-17

He knocked it out of the park.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-09-17

Her brief bout of dull indignation made me laugh.

Nikon - 2012-09-18

I've seen better trolling, but this was sufficient. It also took the Fox & Friends gal a long time to figure it out.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-09-18

He could have gone further with it. But five stars for me being able to hear her asshole contract even further than it normally does.
