All my stars for Panda Voltron at 0:55.

Xenocide - 2012-09-26

The panda Voltron was actually a major part of the show. At the end of every episode, the pandas would run into each other, inexplicably combining into "Poppa Panda," who had unstoppable superpowers.

I saw one episode of this on Youtube a while back. It's even worse than it looks.

Xenocide, I honestly cannot tell whether you are making a joke or describing the actual cartoon. That says something about you, the cartoon, or both.

Xenocide - 2012-09-28

I regret to inform you that I am not being clever this time.

The stupid panda was named "Algernon."

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-09-26

They just took an action news team's theme song and added the word "pandamonium" to it.

I watched this as a kid in the early 80's. 7-year-old me thought it was awesome, radical, and a variety of other era-appropriate adjectives. I was sorry to see it go after a mere half-season. Still, at least it ended with a certain degree of closure, with the pandas getting enough pieces of the Pyramid of Power to construct a mini-pyramid and zap Mondraggor.

By the way, the guy who composed the theme song also composed the music for a bunch of other cartoons: Transformers, G. I. Joe, Dungeons & Dragons, the 80's versions of Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk. He also did the music for the movie Day of the Triffids.

You are not alone. I thought I dreamed this cartoon.

Killer Joe - 2012-09-26

I think their little group has an extra idiot.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-09-26

The most nonsensical cartoon premise you say?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-09-27

Baby got backstory!

Redford - 2012-09-27

I've noticed that this and my video have something very important in common. The premise of both cartoons were built completely and totally off of a terrible pun.

Sudan no1 - 2012-09-27

Pyramids of Power?

C'mon Illuminati, you can make better cartoons than this.

Binro the Heretic - 2012-09-27

Oh, god, I thought I hallucinated this as a kid.

Please tell me a cartoon about a sentient Rubik's cube was only a fever dream.

Bort - 2012-09-27

There was no "Rubik the Amazing Cube". Didn't happen. But don't go Googling for it or you will retroactively cause it to have existed, and you don't want to be that guy.

Binro the Heretic - 2012-09-27

FUUUUUUUUUUCK!

Bort - 2012-09-27

You Googled for it, didn't you. You dick.

memedumpster - 2012-09-27

Aw, man, it talked like Snarf having sex with a porcupine, now I have memories of it too, I hope you're happy.

memedumpster - 2012-09-27

Mandragor's greatest enemy was gravity.

Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2012-09-27

You obviously know about the Pyramids of Power, Apache Chief. Why don't you get off your ass, and use your Indian tracking abilities to find them? I don't even care that you're from a competing company!

Nikon - 2012-09-27

So they are looking for the Triforce Pyramids of Power which was split into pieces and hidden throughout the world?

ORIGINAL CONCEPT DO NOT STEAL

StanleyPain - 2012-09-28

I'm not sure kids who would watch this really cared about the overall plausibility of pandas fighting and evil sorcerer to the point where they needed this exposition, but whatever.
