That Network quote is taken out of context so often it's not even funny. We're not supposed to agree with Howard Beale, we're supposed to pity him as a man who's gone off the deep end, and shun the network for willingly putting a mentally disabled man on the air for the sake of ratings.
I keep getting ads for this on facebook, and I click them every time they come up. I figure I've cost this rube a good 20 bucks in the past week alone.
Right wing "humor." How did I know it was just going to be an uncomplimentary nickname and a bunch of shouted catchphrases juxtaposed with no structure or coherence (and certainly no joke structure or humorous conceit anywhere in sight).

This reminds me of a talking statue of bush that was out during his second campaign. They got a pretty convincing impersonator to do it but some of the things it said go back at least to Dan Quayle.
It reminded me of the Krazy Bill Clinton wristwatch that ran backwards because... well, it ran backwards because he was a bad president or something, I don't know. But it was hilarious!
