God I wish they would cut a ton of narration interruptions and just have the whole thing be Arino talking.


3 stars because Metroid just isn't that fun a game to watch someone play. Most of the enjoyment of these is Arino cracking against an insanely difficult action game. Most of Metroid's challenge is casual exploration and not getting lost.

arino is a semi-functioning alcoholic, some of these episodes catch him on good days playing fine, and some of them catch him on bad days forgetting what the buttons do, lapsing into senseless repetition, etc. that's when the editors have to fill out the episode with pre-recorded shit about game shops or dick lamps or whatever.

I was wondering that myself. The last two or three GCCX clips I submitted died/ are dying in the Hooper, and the one that makes it out fails to attain the standard "five stars across the board".

If people are sick of Arino, let me know and I'll stop subitting them. But I suspect it's just Scrotum being a scrotum.
