That's some fucking pro-level composure from the reporter, she recognised the crazy and just tries to keep things rolling.
needs MBA tag.

"The Government wants you to think classes are cancelled, but I'm not so sure." He's joking, and that line gives it away. He's still an idiot.

SolRo - 2012-10-31 Not so sure, have you ever talked to a Young Republican on a campus? They're the children of a ayn rand/ron paul/crazy homeless person threeway.

Weak troll attempt. Why can't all the pro-trolls come out to the media in moments such as this? Why are we left with these wannabes?

Architeuthis Tux - 2012-10-30 Oh no, the Pro Trolls were out for this one:

jangbones - 2012-10-30 by tweeting a bunch of lies during a hurricane, I am certain that douche just upped his employability dramatically

Architeuthis Tux - 2012-10-30 He's a hedge-fund manager. Those tweets probably made him a bunch of money.

Syd Midnight - 2012-11-06 The Pro-Troll Paradox is that the pro-est of trolls are almost by definition the ones that nobody suspects are trolling, for the same reason you don't see many good spies or cunning murderers. They don't get caught or brag about it, so they're the only ones who get to chuckle over of it.

I was standing on the other side of the barrier when they had the gate lifted, which means I was pretty close to being on PoeTV, which pretty much means I'm an internet celebrity now.
Anyway, this is some quality trolling but he also turned out to be right as far as Providence goes - by 7pm or so it was clear and there was no wind at all, and it has been clear and sunny most of today.
|
Old_Zircon - 2012-10-30 On second viewing, I recant my "quality trolling" statement. This guy's pretty average.
|
chumbucket - 2012-10-30 I saw a good chunk of Providence while running a half marathon there last year. I recall seeing water in just about every direction. Yeah you probably would know if a hurricane hit this town.

|
Old_Zircon - 2012-10-30 It pretty much missed us, just like last year. The storm the summer BEFORE last, which was more or less unreported outside of local news, was far worse than either of this big-deal storms have been. Not so much here, but in the south there were towns that had highways under 10, 15 feet of water, entire downtown business districts more or less destroyed, and as far as I know still haven't totally recovered.
It didn't hit New York, though, so it wasn't real.

What a bunch of bologna.

"Everybody is praying for the health and safety of everyone caught in the storm, but SOME have SUGGESTED it might be part of a massive conspiracy of the president... to... upset voting... in the most Democratically locked region in the country..."
*interview with the exactly one person who believes this*

As a Canadian, I'm not familiar with American universities. Before watching the video, the titled seemed tactless.
