My favorite part was the dude muttering under his breath.

I also liked it when it got so dark out that I couldn't see them.

The very last line, when they suddenly tried to play it off like they're all ironic and self-aware. Doesn't work like that, sunshine. You just made a nearly ten minute long live action YuGiOh video. You're never getting readmitted into society now.

dementomstie - 2012-11-04

It is really terrible that I know this, but that last line is a reference to another YuGiOh thing. I can't remember what it's called, but it summarizes episodes and story arcs from entire seasons of YuGiOh in 5 minute videos. YuGiOh Abridged? Or something like that. They fairly consistantly have characters say how there is nothing more important in the world than playing this children's card game. It was OK when I found it 4 years ago, but it kind of got old fast.

Don't feel bad. It's a terrible thing to know, but we've all done things we're not proud of.

I watched the first season of YuGiOh, back in my senior year of highschool. Later, in the Army, I offered to play YuGiOh with this other guy in my unit. He was really unpopular, an outcast in an unit full of Magic players, Star Wars fans, and Otherkin; he used to get beaten, physically beaten, on a regular basis. I made fun of him, too, but I felt really bad once the beatings started, and when I found out he was obsessed with YuGiOh, I promised him we'd play some matches together. I never actually played the game before, but I had some good memories of the animu, and was willing to learn.

I got transferred to a new platoon before we could play. I saw him a couple times afterward, walking around post, and each time he asked about YuGiOh. Then I didn't see him anymore.

I heard from a friend he'd tried killing himself.

... :(

These nerd mating rituals are really complicated.

Kabbage - 2012-11-04

I saw thinking this exact thing

kingarthur - 2012-11-04

I made it 24 seconds. This apparently goes on for 7 minutes. You win, Internet.

0:20 here.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-11-04

These people probably have or are going to reproduce. I feel sorry for their present or future children.

Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2012-11-04

I don't care if it is live-action. "Real life" and "Yu-Gi-Oh! duel" can never co-exist in the same sentence.

chumbucket - 2012-11-04

Her drama and reactions are both attractive and desirable. I play "marry me or else" card, attack!

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-11-04

I look forward to the video where they try to play the game on motorcycles and die in a fiery wreck.

Louddetective - 2012-11-04

:(

Zoot42 - 2012-11-04

I like how Yu-Gi-Oh is more remembered for its parody than the card game or show itself.

StanleyPain - 2012-11-04

5 for the comments shitsplosion on YT about how the girl summons TWO MONSTERS ON HER FIRST TURN WHAT THE FUCK???

duck&cover - 2012-11-04

I've somehow become severely injured playing a card game.

takewithfood - 2012-11-04

It's pitch black by the end - how long did this take them?

baleen - 2012-11-05

I wonder if they fucked after this.

duck&cover - 2012-11-05

If it was in the cards for them to.
