What am I waiting for? Being not from USA I think I may be missing something...

Binro the Heretic - 2012-11-06

The scary, scary black man is intimidating those ladies by holding the door open for them and greeting them politely.

jreid - 2012-11-06

Ah ok I saw that but thought it was too obvious.

I'm truly sorry for Americans that they have to deal with Fox news. Sorry guys.

SchlongChimp - 2012-11-07

Look they have to get the narrative started somehow...fuck you guys with your he really was a poll watcher...

They need to edit that so that it looks like the guy is lunging instead of opening the door, then cut to some talking point head.

misterbuns - 2012-11-06

Nothing from Fox on actual arrests for voter fraud?

takewithfood - 2012-11-06

Apparently they later confirmed that the man IS a registered poll watcher.

The black man in a beret holding open a door is voter intimidation, while the armed white man challenging the voting eligibility of non-whites and those with an accent before you vote from underneath the cross in the church, is just how American voting should work.

The day of the election, and there's been mass robocalls in Florida telling voters the election is tomorrow, turning away registered voters at the polls and telling them they can't vote, a poll workers been caught changing ballots to Republican, and a machine's been recorded automatically switching Obama votes to Romney.

It's just fucking ridiculous that people aren't more outraged over this. If Obama wins today, it's only because his lead was so great that Republicans figured they couldn't get away with stealing the election by denying or switching as many Democratic votes as they needed.

Also, there's this nugget out of Arizona:

"More than a half dozen Democrats in Scottsdale, Arizona have come forward to say that they received automated telephone calls — or robocalls — from Rep. Jeff Flake’s (R-AZ) Senate campaign that told them to vote in the wrong place.

“It was totally wrong,” lifelong Democrat Mary Crecco told KPNX. “And I feel like it was done purposely.”

The robocall, which said it was sponsored by Flake’s campaign, told Crecco to vote at Immanuel Bible Church, but her actual polling place is three miles away at Copper Canyon Elementary.

Other Democrats said they were informed that their polling places were up to 11 miles away from where they were supposed to vote."

Crap like that is disgusting and those people should serve some real time in real prison.

jangbones - 2012-11-06

Its about 9pm on election night, and as Romney's chances fade, Fox News is flat out race baiting.

Quote from Bill O'Reilly...usually the most moderate opinion on the network..."the white establishment is now the minority... It's not a traditional America anymore."

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-11-06

Cue that old PSA with the Native American weeping a single tear...

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-11-06

No way. He couldn't have really said that.

That sounds like something David Duke or Hal Turner would say.

IrishWhiskey - 2012-11-08

Oh, the whole statement is worse:

“The white establishment is now the minority. And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama's way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things? The demographics are changing. It’s not a traditional America anymore.”

So, women and minorities are entitled moochers who only vote for Obama because he'll give them welfare. White men are the last bastion of responsibility, and as they lose their position of privilege, America falls. Just a more blunt version of Mitt Romney's 47% remarks, and what's driving the remains of the GOP. There's a reason right wing media (and just them) were obsessed for the last few months of a YouTube video of an uneducated black woman claiming she's voting for Obama because he gave her a free phone. That's their constructed reality for why everyone not them, supports him.
