Interviewed in his bomb shelter basement office.

Quad9Damage - 2012-11-25

For fuck's sake.

The President is only going to be black for four more years.

You honestly can't prevent your white tears from creating Fallout-level faction shit for another four years?

EvilHomer - 2012-11-26

I wonder if they knew that Romney was Mexican? Black Christians are bad enough, but it's a good sight better for Texas than a Mexican heathen with family in Juarez.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-12-01

No, Romney was a white guy who's family went to Mexico to be bigamists and wanted to be Mexican.

jangbones - 2012-11-25

considering that Texas takes more from the American economy than it contributes, I wish

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2012-11-25

I expected the leader of the Texas Nationalist Movement to have more impressive facial hair. What he's got there is a crying shame.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-11-25

DO IT, FAGGOT!

Cena_mark - 2012-11-25

Can't believe you're giving these people lip service. You whore.

simon666 - 2012-11-25

I've been reading the Federalist and Antifederalist papers recently.

Since having started this I've realized that mainstream conservatives in the US--the ones who invoke the will and desire of the founding fathers--actually are advocating Antifederalist positions.

On the face of it this makes total sense, they deride the federal government so they must be antifederalists.

But the sweet irony is that these conservatives believe they are on the side of the "founding fathers" when in fact they are on the side of those who were against the constitution.

It should be noted, however, the Antifederalists are responsible for the Bill of Rights and raised legitimate concerns over the Constitution.

Cena_mark - 2012-11-25

They've created their own mythology about the founding fathers.

simon666 - 2012-11-25

Agreed, but I'd add the mythology they've created is totally unintentional and stems from their historical ignorance.

It's amazing how these conservatives have gotten this part (about the founders) totally backwards.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-12-01

Thomas Jefferson was an atheist. So yeah, if Texas follows separation of church and state I'll definitely support that!

Billy the Poet - 2012-11-25

Without America, Texas would make Mexico look like Holland.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-11-25

I say we let them secede and then just give Mexico a bunch of drones and bombers.

chumbucket - 2012-11-25

While we're at it we'll take our border patrol back from them too and see how that goes for them.

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-25

When Bush won his second term I knew of at least half a dozen ISO types in Boston who were yelling for secession, but even they had the sense to not stoop to Internet petitions and just went to Cambridge and got drunk together once or twice a week.

We should give Texas back to Mexico.

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-25

Looks like I'm not the only one who feels that way.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-11-25

Giving these people airtime is like giving Westboro airtime.

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-26

(hilarious)

FABIO - 2012-11-25

I know this gets said of a lot of clips, but

...ladies and gentlemen, the most punchable face in the world.

RockBolt - 2012-11-25

Letting Texas secede would be so hilarious I almost wish we would let it happen. First kiss all that military and NASA spending goodbye, goodbye US Border Patrol.

Then thing they all forget is that getting rid of the Federal US government makes themselves their own federal government. Now you need to inspect your own food and drugs, regulate imports yourself, form a military and border security, regulate your own banking, passports, education, infrastructure, weather and geological monitoring... Everything. It doesn't go away without DC doing it all for you. Everyone who lathers themselves in "states rights! Let states run themselves!" tend to forget that state governments are full of the same dumbasses who run the show in DC, only without the cash, and now they are all you've got.

And you know they would throw regulations out the window to bring in manufacturing, ala China in the last decade. Which the rest of us would love, another slightly more modern Mexico to pollute, abuse, and underpay to make our cheap products, plus be a buffer against real Mexico? Win win.

Also demographically, you think this new republic of Mexi-I mean Texas is going to be majority caucasian for long? Is it even now? This would be so delicious and amazing.

TheOtherCapnS - 2012-11-25

Yup, there's no question about it. It's a win/win/win. Let's just get rid of fucking Texas. All we have to do is slip in a provision to let Austin secede from Texas and join the U.S. and it takes care of everyone/thing I give a shit about in that god forsaken shithole.

simon666 - 2012-11-26

Texas is one of the largest economies in the US. It gives more money out than it gets back in Federal spending. If taxes in Texas were kept inline with federal taxes as they are now, Texas would do just fine in terms of cash flow.

But I agree it would likely be a nightmare for Texas. It would mean such a growth in the state government so quickly confusion and screw ups would be bound to happen.

Cena_mark - 2012-11-26

Would secession make Rick Perry the President of Texas?

cognitivedissonance - 2012-11-26

taxes, Texas, taxes, Texas, taxes, Texas, taxes, Texas

TheOtherCapnS - 2012-11-26

I have read that Texas putting more in than it gets is no longer the case:

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-26

As long as the Mexican government renames Huston "Texico City" and Austin "Texjuana" after they're reconquered I can't see a single downside.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-11-26

I'd like to get several million of us together, stand in a plains state, and spell out "Good Riddance" with our bodies, so as to be visible from space.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-11-26

The history they believe in never existed. But, given the quality of their textbooks I can't really blame them.

memedumpster - 2012-11-26

This is blatant treason. There's only one cure for mad dogs.

candyheadrobot - 2012-11-27

Make it happen Texas. Just let us marxist commie pinkos run the country with our ideas about equality, taxes on people with lots of money, and education. You don't want a seat on the Titanic right? You'll be safe with God and the spirit of the founding fathers and your guns in Texas.
