This was up here just a week or two ago. I can't find it though, so it probably had shitty tags.

catpenis27 - 2012-12-03

So fucking glad I didn't go to college.

Anaxagoras - 2012-12-03

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe you'll eventually come to believe it.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-12-03

I went, and now that I make about quadruple the amount I can make actually using my degree, I really wish I'd saved my money.

That being said, this was terrible.

Being annoyed by hippies and nerds is WELL worth the price of admission. I loved being in academics, in a certain way I wish my day was still dedicated to learning and experimenting, talking about history and playing in the photolab, then going to the local bar later and talking exchanging stories about the classes my friends were in. College was great, and not for the parties or the sex, but just for the plain mental exercise that living in the real world doesn't give me anymore except the rare occasion my friends are not busy at the same time I'm not.

I'll never regret my time in college, and my first two years there sucked. Go back to school and don't worry about the social aspects and you'd probably like it too.

catpenis27,
Assuming you went into a trade I can assure you (no sarcasm here) you are much richer and less broken of a person than an immunologist who is perhaps just coming out of a 7 year postdoc who came from an 8 year graduate school tenure.

Bravo!

memedumpster - 2012-12-04

Go when you're old enough to not be impressed by anything outside of what you learn from the actual classes, and enjoy the disdain you'll feel for everyone who picked a career at random and are failing before you.

garcet71283 - 2012-12-05

College is just a piece of paper to get you in the front door of a job. 6 years will get you an interview almost anywhere.

crojo - 2012-12-03

"This sounded a lot better in my head.

badideasinaction - 2012-12-03

See, the "random stupid shit in college" factor isn't bothering me as much as the feeling this random stupid sht is just whoring for the sake of web hits. I think that's what bothers me more - that this always seems so forced now, where at least before it was a silly thing that happened between a few people.

StanleyPain - 2012-12-04

This is stupid as shit (and not really very funny), but it's certainly more tolerable than some socially broken asshat getting a fucking college credit from doing a presentation about a children's cartoon.

chumbucket - 2012-12-04

The girl's voice asking "what?" at the end made this all worthwhile cringing through.

FABIO - 2012-12-04

Rick Deckard knew the reaction times by heart, all the ranges down to the fraction of a second. There had been a delay between the beginning of the speech and slamming the video's stop button. The Nexus 6 had been programmed with the proper reaction, but a human's would have been instant.

Hugo Gorilla - 2012-12-04

I think most in the classroom were relieved that his sudden outburst was followed by stupid nerd shit and not the sound of him slapping a magazine into a assault rifle.

memedumpster - 2012-12-04

You mean they were relieved... at first.
