I watch this every day. It is my only friend.

FABIO - 2012-12-07

Wasn't this already here? I specifically remember someone pointing out that Simon is jerking off to Alvin shirtless in the tub.

This was one of many 80s cartoons you had to sit through because you woke up at 5 in the morning, didn't have a Nintendo yet, and Ghostbusters wasn't on for another five hours.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-12-07

It's a long Muppet Babies, Beetlejuice, Winnie the Pooh and Lil' Rosie road ahead.

Quad9Damage - 2012-12-07

Did a Google search, checked the tags and reviewed the submission suggestions. But dupes can get really well hidden on this site, so if this is already here I apologize.

"Coming on stronger than ever before..."

Please stop doing that. I insist my partners be of consent and human, thanks.

Question: Why aren't my submissions being embedded properly? The last several videos I've put in the hopper have shown up as that white and grey box. I make sure to use URLS that don't have the stuff after the ID codes.

You're using "https://" URLs. Switch them to "http://" and the problem goes away.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-12-07

The Chipmunks are the worst thing Western society has ever produced.

Simillion - 2012-12-07

It's safe to say Alvin and the Chipmunks was the only thing I liked about America as a kid for a good 3 years, because clearly TMNT came from Japan and so did sailor moon. The muppet babies were the cartoon I was force-fed, (amazing how a timeslot works like that).

FABIO - 2012-12-07

Muppet Babies showed a lot of Star Wars clip. Back before our family got a VCR, it was the only way to ever watch Star Wars in the morning.

It always pissed me off they kept going back to the babies.

I hate babies.

Nikon - 2012-12-07

I think atomic weapons are probably the worst thing Western society made. The Chipmunks are the second worst thing.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-12-07

Once a semester at my school, they show a movie to the kids as part of an ongoing attempt to have them practice listening to English. Usually this is done with subtitles, but the subtitles wouldn't work on the movie they chose last time. That movie? Alvin and the goddamn Chipmunks.

Guess who had to interpret into even more simplistic English so the kids would know exactly what the chipmunks were saying? That would be me.

Fuck this series into dust.

>because clearly TMNT came from Japan

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was created in an American comic book published by Mirage Studios in 1984 in Dover, New Hampshire. The concept arose from a humorous drawing sketched out by Kevin Eastman during a casual evening of brainstorming with his friend Peter Laird. Using money from a tax refund together with a loan from Eastman's uncle, the young artists self-published a single-issue comic intended to parody four of the most popular comics of the early 1980s: Marvel Comics' Daredevil and New Mutants, Dave Sim's Cerebus, and Frank Miller's Ronin.

I hate everything about this show. Five stars!

Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2012-12-07

That theme song is full of forward-looking statements the show doesn't even come close to achieving.

Riskbreaker - 2012-12-07

Honestly, who the fuck likes this show?

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-12-08

I've never met a single person who liked this show.

Not a single damn person.

snothouse - 2012-12-07

Normally, these shows would step up the animation for the opening theme. Not this one.
