The world is just one big Scooby Doo ripoff to some people.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2013-01-09

It's so obvious! Only one blonde toddler who owns a red dress exists in America!

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-01-09

From the comments:

"castnbash 3 hours ago

never believe what the media and government tells you on Tell - LIE-Vision"

As opposed to some random nutjob on YouTube that happens to have delusions that jibe with yours? And here's a thought: For all you know, the uploader is a government (aka illuminati, reptillian, shapeshifter, etc.) agent trying to make you believe total bullshit so you look REALLY stupid when the REAL hoax is perpetrated!

It just makes so much sense!

spikestoyiu - 2013-01-09

Yeah, but TEL-LIE-VISION. You can't argue with the facts!

TimidAres - 2013-01-09

You have to admit the father's behavior at :46 is a little weird.

Blue - 2013-01-09

Yeah, what is up with that?

Adham Nu'man - 2013-01-09

The Reptilians simply cannot properly contain their joy at the ritual sacrifice of human toddlers.

StanleyPain - 2013-01-09

It's almost like people do weird shit when under extreme levels of stress.

jangbones - 2013-01-09

a person who's toddler was just murdered acted differently than I expected

ergo

there is a gigantic government and media conspiracy to stage a false event in order to deprive their citizens of their rights

one one level, the kind of thinking that can make this leap is pathetic and laughable, and on another, its monstrous

Blue - 2013-01-10

Personally I don't think this is really all that unusual, but I kind of hoped someone more articulate would explain it. It's actually really common for someone that has just lost someone to not respond with sadness and crying. A lot of people just go numb. It doesn't feel like anything has happened. Fake crying over a dead loved one is something that a lot of people do because their response isn't what everybody expects of them.

TimidAres - 2013-01-10

Ah, see that makes sense.
Forgot to rate.

CIWB - 2013-01-10

The father's behavior is perfectly normal.

I can only imagine that anyone who thinks otherwise has never lost anyone close to them, and therefore, is basing their behavioral expectations on how people in TV or movies react when someone dies. Cue a 10 second close up of someone crying hysterically, then fade out to the next scene.

The problem with reality is that there are 24 hours in a day, and you can't literally cry all the time. Most of your time is spent staring blankly at a wall. Except when you have to say, speak publicly about a horrific tragedy that your brain still hasn't entirely processed. In which case staring blankly really isn't an option.

StanleyPain - 2013-01-09

So wait, they're not going to mention how, in The Dark Knight Rises, when the cops are planning how to take down Bane, they pull out a map of Long Island that is clearly Long Island, but is actually somehow a map of Newtown if you want it to be? And that this somehow ties in to the MKULTRA/NSA/NWO plot that Christopher Nolan is involved in wherein he specifically made monarch agent cues in the film which were designed to trigger a shooting, like the one in Aurora?

Rudy - 2013-01-10

What are the odds that Sandy Hook would appear on Batman's map when only at least ten other locations named "Sandy Hook" appear inside the continental United States and Canada?

WHO DO YOU WORK FOR????

fatatty - 2013-01-10

There's also the fact that Sandy Hook has been part of Gotham canon for years. I don't think you people realize how deep this all goes. Bob Kane knew the second amendment was going to be revoked 70 years after he created Batman, and it was all part of the plan.

Why do you think Batman stopped using a gun?

GovtCensor - 2013-01-10

Some of the elements of this have been there since day one, especially the "extra suspect" theory. The same things were said after Columbine. The commonest Sandy Hook conspiracy theory is that the AR-15 was not used in the shooting, and thus the whole "assault weapon" ban thing is merely a politically-motivated invention. I see this daily, and feel bad censoring it because it's mostly an honest mistake based on the confusing media reports at the time. The story did indeed change several times, and the evidence most often cited is Youtube clips of news reports made in the days immediately after the event. There's also one clip taken from a helicopter that purports to show the AR-15 being removed from the trunk of Nancy Lanza's car by police, thus demonstrating that Adam Lanza left it there before going inside. Only the nuttiest, however, are able to deny that this is clearly a shotgun, and use has dropped off. Most who make this claim (some do evade the censors), when confronted with the actual evidence, do seem to accept the facts. Not that it changes their minds about guns or Obama or anything...

This coherent narrative isn't getting a lot of play yet. I censored maybe one reference to the kid like this today? And it's been ages since anyone brought up the runner. Every now and again you get a tired "MKULTRA" reference or similar, too easy. The big conspiracies being wielded in the debate remain Fast and Furious and the whole Alex Jones FEMA camps and DHS bullet purchases. Can someone actually debunk the bullet purchases for me? I censor, naturally, but they have some convincing evidence... FBO.gov procurement orders and everything. I mean, I know that the DHS needs bullets and all, but 176,000 hollow point bullets does seem excessive. I'm no national defense expert, just a censor...

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-01-10

Here you go:

http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2012/apr/30/chain-e mail/chain-email-says-homeland-security-purchasing-many/

The gist of the write-up is:

"Homeland Security has contracted to buy up to 450 million .40-caliber bullets -- and that total exceeds the nation’s population. Significantly, though, the purchase contract covers five years; there’s no indication the agency is piling up the bullets in a hurry.

More significantly, we found nothing to support the email’s ominous suggestions. Rather, the large size of the contract is explained as a way for the government to buy in bulk to save money on ammunition used routinely for training officers in a wide variety of agencies."

Maru - 2013-01-10

I want an "absolute proof" tag

Prickly Pete - 2013-01-10

Is there a limit to how many tags you can have? I had more but only a few showed up =/

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-01-10

Five is the limit.
