I can do this guy one better. Yesterday I was at the home despot looking for some bathroom fixtures for a remodel. While checking out, I watched as the woman ahead of me was being rung out. About halfway through, the cashier stops on an item ( a wooden wallplate for a light switch ) and sez "Wait, I can't sell you this, it's under investigation!" and puts the wallplate under her desk. She then explained to the incredulous customer that very rarely there will be items that are recalled and pulled off the shelves, but occasionally they miss one as was the case here. We all understood the issue, but imagine your immediate reaction if you went to buy something and the cashier said "Sorry, you can't have that" and takes it away...

That said, if only we all had guns, then none of this would have happened.
