Ive seen some other videos for this with DARPA marketing it as miltary transpost (including the listed benefit "avoid IEDs") with footage of 'Murican troops and tanks being dropped of in decidedly dusty deserty areas..
Anyway I wonder how they are marketing the fact that this is huuuge and slow moving (especially when it is landing or in "hover mode"); In a conflict situation will one of these not be the biggest rpg magnet that has ever existed?

Egg-zactly. I know these things are filled with non-combustables and can work alright with a few holes, but a giant gaping RPG crater on the side is gonna take this slow moving air whale right down.

It'll still get used. It's cheaper logistics in the rear with the gear. It's just not a troop transport.
