Nah it ain't unblack metal. Its just tuff guy christian metalcore which isn't uncommon really. Unblack metal is a style closer to black metal with christian/anti satanic themes made in reaction to actual black metal. Its like you have punk which is about freedom and antifacism then there is s knee jerk reaction scene of Nazi punk. Black metal isn't even about Satan and the church burnings were done as a sign of rebellion against a religion that took away he heritage of the pagans who lived there. Unblack is a reaction to how the media spun the burnings and how the satanic clones that popped up.
Demon Hunter isn't in reaction to anything really. There has been Christian metal since forever. These guys are just some douchey old guys playing tuff guy "get-rowdy-for-the-lord" metal core that all the Bobby Hills can get behind because their parents want them more involved in church and angry rednecks can find an outlet

Old_Zircon - 2013-02-22 The truth is, I'm used to seeing them lumped in with unblack metal and I couldn't remember the names of any unblack metal bands that actually sound like black metal and was naive enough to think nobody on here would care.

Old_Zircon - 2013-02-22 Plus if you ignore the vocals this doesn't sound THAT different from some of the slicker Gorgoroth stuff (except it's far less memorable, and Gorgoroth aren't the most memorable metal band to begin with).
